DC Gears is a leading data center products and solutions provider with over a decade of experience in delivering server racks, cyber security, power distribution units, virtualization, cloud computing, automatic transfer switches, NAS storage, Storage devices, network security & KVM switches globally.

Problems
DC Gears received a lot of negative feedbacks and reviews from the users however these led to questioning of the site’s performance for revenue generation. When we got into the frame and did a through research we found several problems from slower load times to higher bounce rates and many more.

We chose to thoroughly analyze and research all factors impacting the website's performance to better understand the users and the challenges they encounter before offering a solution.

We decided to change the information architecture in a subtle way, this was for betterment of the task flows and ease of navigation.

With change in the IA, we also changed the categorization and reduced the primary, secondary and tertiary categorization options.

The firm was able to retain it’s current users with reduced user complaints & gain new customers. The new website decreased the number of bounce rate, dead clicks and rage clicks.

However as DCGears was a part of Rahi, DCGears was shut down due to the merger of Rahi and Wesco. This led to shutting down of the website and it’s global channels
